Longevity
Almost 18 years ago to the day, Andrew Nugent arrived in our studio (then Ian Kidd Design) and unveiled his dream to build a world class winery experience.
With no name, an old dairy farm covered in olive trees and a driving ambition, he set about building his dream. Fortunately, we were engaged as design consultants to join the amazing journey which continues today.
The Bird in Hand brand grew from olive oil and soap labels to a range of highly awarded wines, winery, cellar door, restaurant, bottling hall, concert venue, art gallery, 3 cellar doors in China and the establishment of a foundation which supports the local community. It would now be one of the most recognised wine brands from South Australia.
Relationships are built on trust and achievements and ours continues strongly today with KSD producing almost all of their design requirements from packaging through to marketing literature, signage and event graphics.
Late last year was the first time we undertook any packaging change with the upgrade of the Two in the Bush range of wines to better reflect its premium status.
This is a branding exercise that we got right straight from the outset and with the vision of Andrew and his team, has continued to develop – but always with the same goal that underpins every task we undertake … a unique, world class experience.
Happy client, Happy designer, Happy brand.
