KSD has been working with Chris Insanally of Savitas Wines for several years. Incygnes (a derivation of Latin for ‘gem’ – hence the faceted logo) is the most recent brand development. 

The core range wines were printed by Multi-Colour Corporation on clear substrate to achieve the transparent circle and then the surrounding print was cleverly built up on the stock to emulate textured paper with opaque inks, embossed texture and matt varnish. The result is an intricate, intriguing and tactile label. The Reserve Shiraz utilised the bold foil disk, detailed embossing and gloss high build screen.

Further to this we developed the iconic Cordis Barossa Shiraz. This elegant, understated label was offset with the engraved metal disk from Apholos in Argentina and the completed bottle was constructed under wax seal by Glass Print. A lavish production befitting this super premium wine which will only be released in very limited quantities from selected vintages as deemed appropriate by Savitas winemaker, Matt O’Leary.
